The CPC said on Monday that evidence was found against supermajor Shell, Austrian player OMV, Gazprom Neft-owned Nis Petrol and Petrol, Russia’s Lukoil, and Eko Bulgaria, which is part of Greece's Hellenic Petroleum.

The regulator accused the companies of entering “an illegal agreement and/or concerted practice to exchange price information carry out a joint pricing policy and exchange information about sales volumes and other market information” that was meant to “prevent, restrict and breach competition on the petrol and diesel fuel retail market.”
