The chief financial officer is leaving the floating production, storage and offloading player “to pursue his personal goals outside the company”, Bumi said on Friday.
Murdoch is being replaced by Pierre Savy, former finance director of Dutch floater competitor SBM Offshore in Kuala Lumpur. Before SBM, Savy was with French engineering giant Technip.
Murdoch will assist acting chief financial officer Savy until the former leaves the company on 17 November.
