The Malaysian floater giant said Woodside’s “purported notice of termination” of the contract for the Armada Claire floating production, storage and offloading unit, which is working on the Balnaves field off north-western Australia, and the company “subsequent conduct” has shown it no longer has an intention to be bound by the terms of the contract.
