The formal contract with Santos will see Bureau Veritas provide inspection, non-destructive testing and engineering services for the LNG plant.
Bureau Veritas said it would supply a full time project team to the Curtis Island site, which will be supported by its Gladstone and Brisbane offices.
It added it would also make use of the recently developed Corrosion Centre of Excellence in Brisbane to provide specialist corrosion engineering and metallurgy services.
