Buru revealed Thursday that preliminary interpretation of test information from the upper zone indicated a minimum oil column of about 15 metres, with high productivity that it estimated to be more than twice that see in wells at the nearby Ungani oilfield.
“The results to date are very encouraging for regional reservoir development and other prospects in the Ungani area,” Buru said in a statement to the Australian Securities Exchange.
