The company revealed Friday that wireline logs indicated the Praslin-1 well had hit a 23-metre oil bearing interval at the top of the interpreted Ungani Dolomite section in the well.
It added the interval was similar to that seen over the interpreted highly productive zone at the nearby Ungani oilfield, however production testing will still need to be carried out to confirm the reservoir characteristics at Praslin-1.
