The companies both have a 50% interest in both the well and the permit area in which it sits, EP 391 – 80 kilometres east of Broome – with Mitsubishi contributing 80% of the well drilling costs.
To be drilled using the Ensign Rig 32, the well is expected to take about 58 days to drill and suspend, aiming for a total depth of 3600 metres.
