The assessment by Risc has placed the best estimate contingent resources at Roc, which lies in WA-437-P, at 270 billion cubic feet of gas and 13 million barrels of condensate.
It also gave a best estimate prospective resource for the discovery of 193 Bcf of gas and 9 million barrels of condensate.
The independent audit comes after Roc-1 hit a gross hydrocarbon section of 40 metres, with net pay of 13 metres, earlier this year, along with an additional 80 metres of reservoir quality sands beneath the hydrocarbon bearing sands.
