Carnarvon revealed on Wednesday it had been awarded a 100% interest in WA-521-P, which lies in Western Australia's offshore Roebuck basin.
The terms of the permit will see Carnarvon be required to purchase 4000 kilometres of reprocessed 2D seismic during the first three-year term, and acquire an optional 3000 square kilometres of 3D seismic in year five of the following discretionary three-year term.
