Carnarvon reveals delay to Outtrim East-1 well

Operator Quadrant Energy began drilling the Outtrim East-1 well on 18 June using the jack-up drilling rig Noble Tom Prosser.

Carnarvon said: "The well has reached... a depth of 1011 metres. The first casing string was set shallower than expected due to drilling challenges in the shallow-hole section of the well around 400 metres, which resulted in a delay of approximately 10 days.
