Australian company Carnarvon Petroleum is increasing its footprint on Western Australia’s North West Shelf, with the company preparing to announce the acquisition of another permit.
Carnarvon chief executive Adrian Cook revealed during his presentation at the Good Oil conference in Perth this week that the company is to expand its holdings on the North West Shelf.
Speaking to Upstream on the sidelines of the conference, Cook revealed the new permit lies near the Stag and Wandoo oilfields.
