Denver-based Centennial was founded with backing from private equity player Natural Gas Partners and is led by chief executive Ward Polzin.
Since its founding, the company has amassed 42,500 net acres along the borders between Reeves, Pecos and Ward counties in the Delaware sub-basin of the Permian in west Texas and drilled 61 horizontal wells, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
