The 30-day test saw the West Mereenie-15 (WM-15) well flow an average of 1.5 million cubic feet of gas per day, with Central noting the gas had a nitrogen content of 2.6% which was below East Coast gas specifications.
It added the production of low nitrogen gas would allow it to optimise oil production and had resulted in a 7.5% lift in oil production last month at no extra cost.
