French contractor CGG has agreed a reduction of the charter costs for several of its cold-stacked seismic vessels.
The seismic player has entered into agreements to “substantially reduce the cash burden of the charter agreements” for three vessels, namely the Pacific Finder, the Ocean Phoenix and the Viking Vanquish.
In exchange for the cut backs, CGG will issue senior notes maturing 2021 and other debt instruments as compensation.
