The facility in Cameron Parish, Louisiana is more than one-quarter complete, Cheniere Energy senior vice president Keith Teague told visitors during a technical tour of the facility to coincide with the LNG 17 conference in Houston.
The progress puts Cheniere on course to beat its goal of delivering first LNG from Train 1 at Sabine Pass in November 2015, company officials said.
