The US liquefaction player said on Tuesday that it was taking over “care, custody and control” of the Cameron Parish project from fabricator Bechtel “months ahead of the guaranteed completion date and on budget”.
The first commercial cargo, under a 20-year deal with Shell-owned BG, is set to be lifted in November. BG does, however, have rights to early cargoes from the plant under certain conditions.
