The Oklahoma City independent bought out the position of fellow onshore player Carrizo Oil & Gas in the Goodland Lime play, according to county records.
Carrizo had begun to establish a foothold in the play before the downturn in oil prices.
The deal is effective from October 2015, but was only recently filed in the public record.
