The New York-listed producer reported net income of $1.27 billion in 2014 on revenues of $8.18 billion, compared to a profit of $474 million in 2013 on revenues of $7.05 billion.
The net earnings include unrealised gains on derivatives and other items worth a total of $316 million.
Output adjusted for asset sales rose 9% in 2014 to average around 706,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
