The pair signed a sales and purchase agreement which will see Chevron supply up to 650,000 tonnes of LNG per annum over a 10-year period, with the first delivery to China expected either in 2018 or at the start of 2019.
“This SPA further demonstrates our work to expand our customer base, our strong customer relationships and our commitment to partnerships around the world,” executive vice president of Chevron midstream and development, Mike Wirth said.
