The world’s second-largest economy has shifted into “medium-high speed” as growth is projected to fall from a rate of more than 10% to around 7%.
Nnonetheless, natural use is expected to increase dramatically, Yalan Li, chair of the board of directors of Beijing Gas Group told the World Gas Conference in Paris on Thursday.
“The Chinese energy consumption is also shifting gears to low carbon consumption,” Li said.
