China to offer fresh onshore acreage

China’s upstream watchdog is to open up six onshore blocks in the far-flung north-western region of Xinjiang for public tender, further indication of the reform of the country’s upstream sector that is tightly controlled by China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and Sinopec.
