The Ministry of Land & Resources (MLR) said in a tender statement that the six blocks are Buerjing in the Buerjing basin, Yumin in the Tacheng basin, Gongliudi in the Yili basin, Kepingbei in the Tarim basin, Kashqar-Shule in the Tarim basin and a block in the south-east region in Lop Nor of the Dunhuang basin.
The exploration period is three years in addition to three months for exploration progress assessment by MLR, which will countercheck the work commitment by MLR.
