The contract, to buy the company based in Nantong, Jiangsu province, was signed on Thursday following two separate memoranda of understanding reached a week ago.
CIMC Enric will acquire 63.31% stakes totalling 63.31% that Sinopacific Shipbuilding and SOEG Pte own in Sinopacific Offshore Engineering.
CIMC Enric is also buying the remaining stakes totalling 36.69% from Evergreen Group, the parent of Sinopacific Offshore Engineering.
