Sound Oil said in a statement that operator BPRec had started shooting 1250 kilometres of 2D seismic on the PSC as part of plans to fulfill obligations to shoot 750 kilometres in the first three years of the award and 500 kilometres in year four.
Work is expected to be wrapped up by May next year, with results of the shoot to be used in drilling a further three exploration wells on the contract.
