Joint venture partner Lion Energy revealed on Monday the Oseil-28 development well had been completed and was producing about 640 barrels of oil per day, boosting total output at the field to roughly 4000 bpd.
However, Lion noted that production had been temporarily reduced to about 3820 bpd while an electronic submersible pump is replaced on the Oseil-12 well.
Oseil-28 was the fifth well in Citic's 10-well development drilling campaign at the field, with the next well planned the Oseil-22 development well.
