Clough revealed on Monday Peter Bennett would take over the top job from 1 February and also join the board of Murray & Roberts, which acquired Clough in 2013.
Bennett has more than 20 years experience in the oil and gas industry and most recently served as senior vice president for CB&I's oil and gas international division in the Netherlands.
Prior to that he was the senior vice president for oil and gas operations, Australia and Asia Pacific, at CB&I in Western Australia.
