The company announced on Friday that the UK Coal Authority had awarded two conditional UCG licences, options for leases and non-exclusive exploration licences for the North Cumbria and Largo Bay prospects. Cluff will hold the full 100% interest in each licence.
These awards bring Cluff’s total UCG holdings in the UK to five licences, covering a total area of 308.81 square kilometres.
