The CML Exploration operated WC 35 State No. 1 well in the state’s Lea County had hit the San Andres interval between 4814 and 4821 feet, Caza said, with swab testing generating results of a 50% oil cut and good fluid entry.
CML was reporting 700 feet of fluid on each run, with 25% of load still to be recovered. The company was waiting for an available fracturing crew to frac the well, it said.
