The state giant recently began flowing oil from the Weizhou 12-2 projects in the Beibu Gulf basin in the South China Sea.
The project contains a trio of oilfields – Weizhou 12-2, Weizhou 12-1 West and the northern part of Weizhou 11-2. The main production facilities include three wellhead platforms and 18 producer wells, all of which are now producing, with total output at 16,000 barrels per day.
