The project, in addition to fully utilise the existing facilities of the Luda 10-1 oilfield, has also built one wellhead platform, CNOOC said on Tuesday.
There are currently 13 wells producing approximately 3300 barrels per day of oil, with the new adjustment project expected to increase peak production to approximately 6000 bpd in 2016, the company said.
The Luda 10-1 oilfield, located in an average water depth of approximately 30 meters, is an independent oilfield in which CNOOC holds a 100% interest and is operator.
