CNPC gets Arctic entry ticket

China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) is muscling in on Russia’s Arctic offshore acreage after signing a pact with state-owned counterpart Rosneft for joint exploitation of three blocks in the Barents and Pechora seas.
