During the three-month period, CNR saw its total output drop to 733,988 barrels of oil equivalent per day, of which 502,410 barrels of per day were oil and 1689 million cubic feet of per day of gas, compared to 805,547 boepd in the same quarter last year, comprised of 509,047 bpd and 1779 MMcfd.
The drop was "due to expected natural production declines, minimal conventional development capital expenditures, as well as unexpected weather and pipeline related events", including the massive wildfire near Fort McMurray, which cut total Canadian crude output by more than 1 million bpd, CNR said.
