The company plans to deploy one rig to drill eight dry Utica wells in Monroe County, Ohio and another rig to drill two Marcellus wells in Washington County, Pennsylvania.
Consol has a 100% working interest in the Ohio properties and a 50% working interest in the Pennsylvania properties.
The two new Marcellus wells will be located on a six-well pad which already contains four drilled but uncompleted (DUC) wells.
