US independent Continental Resources drilled its best well ever in the Stack tight-oil play in Oklahoma and said results from its operations there have led the company to boost its production guidance for the coming year.
The Angus Trust 1-4-33XH flowed at 4642 barrels of oil equivalent per day (45% oil) during a 24-hour test. Continental drilled the well in southern Blaine County, Oklahoma.
