The Sole gas field is located in the offshore Gippsland basin and is about to enter front end engineering and design, with the aim of the development starting production in late-2018 to early-2019.
Gas will be sourced from conventional gas reservoirs using existing infrastructure, and the field lies near the Eastern Gas pipeline which is linked to the Victoria and New South Wales markets.
