Cooper has opened a data room for its offshore Sole and Manta gas projects as well as the Orbost gas plant in a move it says is to “facilitate optimal project funding and commercial alignment of interests” through the involvement of additional partners.
The combined projects hold 347 petajoules of gas in best estimate contingent resources, with Sole currently in the front-end engineering and design phase and Cooper hoping to make a final investment decision on the project in the September quarter of next year.
