The builder made a loss of S$10.3 million (US$7.49 million) in the three months to the end of June, down from a profit a year earlier of S$30.18 million.

Revenues sank from S$1.15 billion to S$853.53 million, although the cost of sales came down appreciably from S$1.05 billion to $794.48 million.

Both shipyard and shipping revenues were down, although there was an increase in shipbuilding revenue – as opposed to marine engineering.
