The projects now have a combined price tag of just over Nkr292 billion ($36.4 billion), 4.6% lower than one year ago, according to a survey by the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy.
As industry costs have come down worldwide, “several projects, especially the newer ones, have become cheaper than what was expected before the oil-price drop,” the ministry wrote in an annual update of Norwegian oil and gas projects.
