The Naga Selatan-2 (Southern Dragon) well was drilled to test a shallow anticlinal closure with potential hydrocarbons near the surface.
Cue said Wednesday its model had been validated with gas shows from 300 – 315 feet, but it added the interval was not logged due to operational constraints.
Gas shows and fluorescence were also observed from 370 – 495 feet, with Cue noting heavier gas readings and oil shows were encountered at 465 feet and below.
