West Australian company Decmil has been awarded another extension to its wellsite contract with Shell subsidiary QGC in Queensland.

Decmil said Tuesday the extension of the wellsite installation contract until 30 June next year was worth roughly A$17 million (US$13.1 million).

Work on the contract is part of Shell’s Queensland Curtis liquefied natural gas (QCLNG) project which it acquired following its takeover of BG Group.
