The drop compares to Douglas-Westwood estimates in the March 2015 edition of its "World Deepwater Market Forecast", which looked at presumed activity between 2015 and 2019.
In the previous edition, Douglas-Westwood identified 210 potential projects "visible for installation" over the subsequent five years. The firm now expects 118 projects to be installed between now and 2020, said report author Mark Adeosun.
