Divestment pledges 'hit $3.4 trillion'

Environmentalists are touting their progress in the growing push for institutions around the world to divest from oil and gas and other fossil fuels and now claim that entities controlling more than $3.4 trillion in assets have pledged to keep at least some of their investments out of "yesterday's fuels".
