Denmark’s Dong Energy has chartered a pair of construction support vessels from a Norwegian owner for work on one or more wind energy projects.
The company has taken the Rem Installer for a firm period of 23 months, with a six-month extension option.
The contract will begin next month, with the unit set to change name to the Norman Jarl.
Dong Energy Wind Power, the business unit that has taken the vessel, is also to take another as yet to be nominated Solstad CSV for seven months firm plus eight optional months from April next year.
