Danish player Dong Energy expects to complete the divestment process of its oil and gas segment before the end of the year.
As a result of the imminent sale, Dong adjusted its earnings forecast, as it has to remove discontinuing operations from its 2016 financial statements.
Dong said on Thursday it "initiated a process with the ultimate aim of divesting its activities within exploration and production of oil and gas", with activities expected to be sold before the end of 2017.
