The company generated A$52.8 million (US$38.1 million) over the three months to 30 September, down 12% on the A$60.2 million recorded over the prior three month period to 30 June.
Hitting revenues were lower oil prices which fell 15% to an average of A$68.6 per barrel after falling towards a six-year low in mid-August.
This offset a 3% rise in production to about 814,800 barrels of oil equivalent in the recent quarter, Drillsearch's highest output level since the June quarter of 2014.
