The six year agreement, which also carries two three-year options, will see the pair carry out offshore projects with Saudi Aramco.
The scope of the work will include project management, engineering, procurement, fabrication, transportation and installation works of offshore facilities such as platforms, pipelines, submarine cables and other offshore services.
Wednesday's announcement confirms earlier reports by Upstream that L&T was the likely winner of one of the four LTAs on offer from Saudi Aramco, which in turn would have led to a role for its partner Emas.
