Beach revealed in its monthly drilling report the Middleton East‐1 well in PEL 106 had been cased and suspended after initial data interpretation indicated the well hit 9.3 metres of net pay across six zones, with 4.3 metres intersected in the primary target Patchawarra formation.
The joint venture plans to carry out extended production testing on the well at a later date to better assess flow rates and resource base.
