Colombian state player Ecopetrol has seen its net profit plunge in the third quarter of the year amid falling sales and production figures, however, the company’s cost savings plans continue to advance.
Ecopetrol reported on Tuesday a net income of 229 billion Colombian pesos ($73 million), a 65% drop compared to 654 billion pesos reported in the same quarter of last year.
