Under a cooperation deal, TGS has agreed to provide access to its 2D seismic data in order for EMGS to plan new 3D controlled-source electromagnetic (CSEM) projects.
In exchange, EMGS will provide its 2D and 3D CSEM data to TGS to design and acquire new 3D seismic projects.
EMGS chief executive Roar Bekker said in a statement that the deal underpinned the company’s strategy to “integrate 3D EM with seismic data in the exploration workflow”.
