The company struck 53 metres of net gas pay at the wildcat, which was drilled to 4410 metres on licence EP 389, exceeding pre-drill expectations.
The gas was found in the primary C and D sand objectives of the Cattamarra coal measures, with thinner zones in the secondary sands of the Lower Cattamarra coal measures – but these have not been included in the 53 metres.
