It marks the biggest-ever such deal by Enbridge and will further expand its burgeoning North American pipeline network, with Houston-based Spectra owning 33,800 kilometres of natural gas and crude pipelines, as well as storage facilities, in both the US and Canada.
The combined entity will have a pro-forma enterprise value of around C$165 billion and would have generated combined revenue of more than C$5.8
